From the Re-Start Yorkshire Main again pushed forward and won a Free Lick when Michael SIDES was fouled. The Kick came to nothing! 2nd minute of Injury Time. As Yorkshire Main pushed forward again to reduce the deficit even further! The ball was passed out to the feet of Sam TURNER; who shielded the ball away from a Bradford Defender. The Referee: 1: Craig SALMONS gave a foul against Sam TURNER for illegally blocking off the Bradford Player & make matters worse Ben WALKER reacted by lifting his head high into the air and swearing “You Must Be F**king Joking!” Where upon the Referee showed Ben a Yellow Card for decent! That was the Last action of a Highly Entertaining Match. The Referee: 1: Craig SALMONS blew the whistle to bring to end the Match with the Final Score: 4-2 to Bradford Park Avenue. With 5 Substitutions and a Couple of long injuries; Yorkshire Main thought there should be over 5 to 10 minutes of Injury Time! But this was not to be!! In Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s sixth game of the Season and Manager Dave Twigg decided to start with his usual 4-4-2 formation, Darren DUFFY started between the sticks. The Yorkshire Main defence lined up with Stephen NEWTON at (Right Back), Matthew BROWN, Luke HINSLEY (Centre Backs), Daniel BOWLAND at (Left Back). Daniel TURNER partnered Michael SIDES in Midfield. With Chris BENSON started on the Left Wing & Jonathan MORGAN started on the Right Wing. David MANNIFIELD partner Ben WALKER up front; With, Steffan CAIRNS, Lloyd MOORE & Josh FORBES starting on the bench. Jordan WILLAIMS & Josh EAVES (Un-Used Subs). Kody Twigg (Bad Cold), James McFARLANE (Tonsillitis), Sam TURNER (Minor Car Crash) & Darren BIRD (Working) were all missing on the night!
The conditions on the night were fine, but rather chilly; The Assistant Referee: Graeme ECCLESHALL –Was Working & Couldn’t Make The Match – No Replacement Official Was Available; So I (Peter MILLARD) took over the Assistant Referee’s No. 3 Duties. In the 1st Half I was in charge of the Ossett Town’s Defence and in the 2nd Half, I was in charge of the Home Sides Defence. With Referee Assistants: 2. Kevin BLACKBURN taking charge of the more important duties on the night.
Before the start of the Match the Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI had a quite word with the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy about him wearing his Glasses during the Match (As per League Directive & advice from FAMOA (FA Match Officials Association):- Safety of Player’s Equipment; The Referee told Duffy that he could wear his Glasses during the Match; but he was told that at any time the Glasses became a danger to himself or any Player; Duffy would have to remove his them. So Duffy started the Match wearing his famous Glasses.
The Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI called the two Captains to the Centre Circle to toss up. Ossett Town A.F.C. Under 19’s won the toss and decided to stay the way they were facing and so Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s were handed the Kick-Off; Playing from Right to Left.
With me taking over the Assistant Referee’s No. 3 Duties on the night – The following Match Report is of a shortened version than usual!
The game started with both sides sounding each other out, but resulted in no shots on target.
With 3 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main was the first team to sound out the oppositions defence; With David MANNIFIELD partnering Ben WALKER up front the Ossett Town’s defence was run ragged! This was Ben WALKER’s first start of the season for the Under 19’s and it showed as Ben couldn’t get his runs quite right and was getting caught Off-Side more often than not!
With 12 minutes on the clock. Centre Back: Luke HINSLEY made a run forward from defence and broke the deadlock to open the Scoring to make the Score: 1-0 to Yorkshire Main.
With 19 minutes on the clock. With both Yorkshire Main front line of David MANNIFIELD & Ben WALKER gaining the upper hand against the Ossett Town’s defence, it was long before Yorkshire Main doubled there lead; with David MANNIFIELD’s shot beating Ossett Town Goal Keeper: Carl WIDDRINGTON to make the Score: 2-0 to Yorkshire Main.
As the 1st half progressed Ben WALKER gained the upper hand against the Ossett Town’s Left Back: Ross HARDAKER running him ragged; In the space of five minutes both Players were pulled up for shirt pulling. In the first incident Ben’s run down the Left Wing was ended when “I” in my Assistant Referee’s No. 3 Capacity flagged for a Foul by the Yorkshire Main No.: 14 for shirt pulling; Ben nearly took the shirt off the Ossett Town’s No.: 3 back.
As Yorkshire Main pushed forward Ben again made a run down the Left Wing; this time it was Ossett Town’s Left Back: Ross HARDAKER who committed the Foul. As Ben tried to go past the defender, the Left Back grabbed his shirt sleeve. I raised my Flag to signal that a Foul had been committed; The Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI signalled for a Free Kick to the Away side, but I said that the Foul had been committed by the Ossett Town’s Left Back and the Free Kick was awarded to the Yorkshire Main. The resulting Free Kick was wasted and the danger was cleared.
With 22 minutes on the clock. Half way through the 1st Half, With Ossett Town gain an advantage down their Right Wing. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager swapped Left Back: Daniel BOWLAND with Left Winger: Chris BENSON to cut out the Ossett Town threat.
The only down side of the 1st half was that Michael SIDES got Booked for the second Match in a row; After a strong tackle on the Ossett Town’s No.9: James WILSON which the Yorkshire Main man won; Both Players sized up to each other, when the incident had cooled down; The Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI called the two Players too him and Booked both Players for descent!
The Referee blew the whistle for Half Time, with the Score: Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s 2 Ossett Town A.F.C. Under 19’s 0
At the start of the Second Half; It was Ossett Town’s turn to Kick-Off. Kicking from Right to Left!
Yorkshire Main started the Second Half as they had ended the First! On Top!!
With 12 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main pushed forward from midfield; Ben WALKER made a strong challenge for the ball, 22 Yards from the Ossett Town Goal; The Ossett Town defender fell to the ground under Ben’s strong challenge; The Referee let play continue and he said the ball was there to be won. The Ossett Town defender shielded the ball on the ground; keeping the ball away from Ben. On the blind side of the Referee the defender started to kick Ben instead of the ball. Ben took exception to this and grabbed the Players Shirt. Upon seeing this, the Referee blew his whistle and awarded a foul to the Away Side. The Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI called the two Players too him and Booked both Players for descent!
With 15 minutes on the clock. Ossett Town pushed forward from midfield and from 22 Yards out, one of their midfielders sent a shot, that just cleared the Yorkshire Main Cross Bar by inches; The Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy who was positioned at the edge of his Six Yard Box was quite sure that the shot was going over that he didn’t even raise his hands to cover the shot!
With 16.30 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his First change of the night; replacing Daniel BOWLAND with Steffan CAIRNS.
With 22 minutes on the clock. Jonathan MORGAN picked the ball up in the centre of midfield; his run took him past the Ossett Town defenders and into the Ossett Town Penalty Box; The Ossett Town Goal Keeper: Carl WIDDRINGTON came off his line to narrow the angle; But Jonathan was too quick for him and as the Goal Keeper set him self for his shot; Jonathan sold him a dummy and ran past him to the Goal Keepers right; It looked like Jonathan had taken the ball too wide, but he swiveled and his right foot shot found the back of the Ossett Town net to make the Score: 3-0 to Yorkshire Main.
With 23 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his Second change of the night; replacing Daniel TURNER with Lloyd MOORE.
With 27 minutes on the clock. Steffan CAIRNS pick the ball up just outside his the Ossett Town’s Penalty Box and made a diagonal run forward into the Box; His run beat the Ossett Town’s defenders; Steffan rode the tackles and his shot beat the advancing Goal Keeper to find the far corner of the Ossett Town’s net to make the Score: 4-0 to Yorkshire Main. Steffan Goal celebrations was the best thing about the Goal; After he had scored Steffan took off running quickly followed by his team mates, as he celebrated his Goal his team mates surrounded him; to complete the celebrations.
With 28 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his Third change of the night; replacing David MANNIFIELD with Josh FORBES. Josh came on and replaced Stephen NEWTON at Right Back; Stephen was pushed forward to partner Ben WALKER up front.
With 33 minutes on the clock. Ben WALKER had the Away defence beaten for pace and his run and shot gave the Ossett Town Goal Keeper: Carl WIDDRINGTON - No Chance as his shot hit the back of the Ossett Town net to make the Score: 5-0 to Yorkshire Main.
With 37 minutes on the clock. Luke HINSLEY made an amazing run from the heart of the Yorkshire Main defence to the edge of the Ossett Town Penalty Box, but his way to goal was blocked, Luke’s pass to the Left found Steffan CAIRNS unmarked on the edge of the 18 Yard Box; Steffan’s run into the Ossett Town Penalty Box was blocked; the Ossett Town’s defenders tried to kick Steffan feet from under him; the Referee tried to allow Steffan a chance to get his shot on target, but his run was bought to an end when he went to ground under a strong challenge from an Ossett Town defender; The Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI pointed to the Penalty Spot to award a Penalty to the Home side. Luke HINSLEY stepped up and grabbed the Ball off Steffan and placed it on the spot. His kick beat the Ossett Town Goal Keeper: Carl WIDDRINGTON to make the Score: 6-0 to Yorkshire Main.
With 43 minutes on the clock. Stephen NEWTON’s ball forward found Ben WALKER unmarked at the edge of the Ossett Town’s 18 Yard Box; Ben’s run and shot gave the Ossett Town Goal Keeper no chance to make the Score: 7-0 to Yorkshire Main.
Everybody on the Ossett Town side was looking for the Referee: 1. Steve ZELINSKI to blow the Final Whistle. But from somewhere the Referee found over 3 minutes of injury time; But Yorkshire Main held out; With No more goals were scored in the second half. The Yorkshire Main defence lined up with Neil HOWARD at (Right Back), Matthew BROWN, Luke HINSLEY (Centre Backs), Chris BENSON at (Left Back). Daniel TURNER partnered Michael SIDES in Midfield. With Darren BIRD started on the Left Wing & James McFARLANE started on the Right Wing. David MANNIFIELD partner Stephen NEWTON up front; With Daniel BOWLAND, Lloyd MOORE & Sam TURNER starting on the bench.
The conditions on the night were not conclusive to attractive football because a strong wind blowing across the Pitch that made conditions less than favorable for both sides; Before the start of the Match the Referee: Peter BINKS (Who was wearing Glasses himself to Referee the Match) put a spanner in the Away Sides plans, he told the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy that he had to remove his Glasses (As per League Directive & advice from FAMOA (FA Match Officials Association):- Safety of Player’s Equipment; Without these Duffy can hardly see! But he was told by the Referee “Remove Them Or You Don’t Play”. So Duffy did as the Referee told him and removed his Glasses or So we thought!
The Referee called the two Captains to the Centre Circle to toss up. Ossett Albion F.C. Under 19’s won the toss and decided to change round and play with the wind; Duffy had to go past the Referee to go to the other end of the Pitch to take his place between the Goal ready for Kick-Off; But to the amusement of the Away Supporters, Duffy still had his Glasses on as he passed the Referee and when the Referee saw them, he gave Duffy one last warning to remove them or leave the Pitch! Duffy removed his glasses and gave them to me for safe keeping! But the saga didn’t end there (More on that latter on)!

Yorkshire Main was the first team to sound out the oppositions defence; David MANNIFIELD got the ball in the Ossett Albion net but the Assistant Referee raised his Flag to signal “That the Player was Off-Side”. From the Away sides Technical Area, David was level with the Ossett Albion’s Defender & the Goal should have stood; But the Assistant Referee stated “That the Laws of the Game states that if any part of the attacking Players goal scoring attributes are in front of the defender; this includes his Head, Feet & Torso, then the Player is Off-Side”!
With 8 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main won a Free-Kick on the Left. Chris BENSON stepped up to take the kick, but the kick was wasted and the danger was cleared by the Home defence.
With 11 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion won a Free-Kick on the Left of the Yorkshire Main Midfield. The ball was sent into the 18 Yard Box Back Post and at the Back Post was met by the head of an Ossett Albion Striker; His header hit the Left Hand Post, deflecting out for a Goal Kick to the Away side.
With 12 minutes on the clock. From the Goal Kick Yorkshire Main went on the attack; David MANNIFIELD picked up the loose ball and made a run into the Osssett Albion 18 Yard Box. His feet slipped underfoot and was challenged by the Ossett Albion Left-Back: Sam JACKSON; But David won the tackle and his square ball found the feet of Stephen NEWTON unmarked about 12 Yards from the Home sides Goal; But his shot was hit tamely at the Goal Keeper.
The next 5 minutes became a scrappy affair; With the Referee awarding both teams Free Kick’s one after another!
With 16 minutes on the clock. Luke HINSLEY’s Free Kick was cleared by the Home defence.
With 18 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion Free Kick blocked.
With 20 minutes on the clock. Luke HINSLEY’s Free Kick was gathered by the Home Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER.
With 21 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main won a Free-Kick 10 Yards inside the own half. Michael SIDES tried to take the kick quickly, but the Referee call the play back and told the Away side to wait until he blew his whistle. Michael turned his back and raised his hands above his head and let out a huge sigh; The Referee: Peter BINKS took this action as defiance and Booked Michael for Decent!
With 23 minutes on the clock. Good work from James McFARLANE on the Right found Stephen NEWTON unmarked in front of Goal; But his shot was too week to trouble the Goal Keeper.
With 25 minutes on the clock. Chris BENSON’s long range shot was gathered by the Goal Keeper.
With 27 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion were awarded a Free Kick, just inside the Yorkshire Main half. The resulting kick was Headed wide of the Yorkshire Main’s Goal.
With 29 minutes on the clock. Players from both sides were getting frustrated by the Referee’s stop, start tactics and not letting the game flow. Luke HINSLEY positioned 10 Yards inside his own half was Booked for a strong tackle from behind, that the Referee deemed a Foul!
With 30 minutes on the clock. More good work from James McFARLANE on the Right Wing, put David MANNIFIELD through on Goal; His run into the right hand side of Ossett Albion Penalty Box was spotted by the Home sides Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER who came to the edge of his Six Yard Box and saved well with his feet, the ball was cleared well down field.
With 31 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main failed to deal with the danger and the ball was sent high into the Yorkshire Main 18 Yard Box and from 12 Yards out the Ossett Albion No. 10: Rikki POPPLEWELL ran onto the lose ball and his shot found the back of the Away sides net to open the Scoring to make the Score: 1-0 to Ossett Albion.
With 33 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion again gained the upper hand in the centre of the Pitch and hit the Cross Bar from 20 Yards out; From the rebound the Away side cleared the danger.
With 34 minutes on the clock. Darren BIRD in from the Left Wing, shot over from 20 Yards out.
With 37 minutes on the clock. The Ossett Albion No. 6: Jason HOLMES was Booked for a foul and the Referee awarded Yorkshire Main a Free Kick 30 Yards from the Ossett Albion Goal. Chris BENSON stepped up to take the kick and his Left Footed shot to the right of the Goal was too hot for the Home sides Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER and screamed into Ossett Albion net to Equalize; This made the Score: 1-1.
With 44 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion forwards had the last action of the First Half when they were put through on Goal, but the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy saved well diving to his Left.
The Referee blew the whistle for Half Time, with the Score: Ossett Albion F.C. Under 19’s 1 Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s 1
As the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy was walking off the Pitch on his way back to the Changing Room for the Half Time Team Talk! I returned his Glasses to him; So that he could put them back in the Changing Room – To keep them safe. But that was not to be the case! Please read on!!
At the start of the Second Half; It was Ossett Albion turn to Kick-Off. Kicking from Left to Right!
With 1 minute on the clock. Ossett Albion gained possession in midfield and shot over from 20 Yards out.
From the resulting Goal Kick; The Referee: Peter BINKS noticed that the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy had put his Glasses back on; After a short lecture; Duffy did as the Referee told him and removed his Glasses and in his final statement the Referee Booked Duffy for defying him! Everybody on the Away side had to laugh!
With 7 minute on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick on the Left Hand Touch Line. The kick came to nothing.
With 10 minute on the clock. Ossett Albion gained possession in midfield and from the resulting shot Duffy saved well with his feet; The ball was cleared down the Left Wing; David MANNIFIELD picked up the loose ball on the Left and made a diagonal run into the Ossett Albion 18 Yard Box. His run and shot found the far corner of the Ossett Albion net. To make the Score: 1-2 to Yorkshire Main.
With 13 minute on the clock. Yorkshire Main push forward looking for the winner and from the resulting play, the Ossett Albion Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER spills the shot, but the trouble is cleared by the Home side.
With 15 minute on the clock. Yorkshire Main gain a Corner on the Left side of the Pitch, the Ossett Albion Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER came off his line and caught the cross.
The Referee: Peter BINKS and his Assistants continued to deny both teams the chance to play football; Stopping the Match and making sure that every Throw-In and every Free-Kick was taken from the right spot. One Example was that:- Ossett Albion were awarded a Free Kick on the right hand touch line; half way inside the Yorkshire Main Half. The Ossett Albion Player tried to take the kick quickly; But the Referee, told the Player to take the Kick from the right place “1 Yard back nearer the right hand touch line”.
With 20 minute on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free Kick 10 Yards inside the Ossett Albion Half. Luke HINSLEY’s Free Kick was hit straight at the Goal Keeper, who deflected Luke’s shot wide. The ball going out for a corner to the Away side; The corner came to nothing.
With 26 minute on the clock. Michael SIDES shot from 24 Yards out was tipped over by the Ossett Albion Goal Keeper: Ash LOCKER. Fro a corner to the Away side on the Left! The Corner came to nothing.
With 31 minute on the clock. Ossett Albion won possession and pushed forward looking for the Equalizer. The ball was sent into the Yorkshire Main Penalty Box were their Substitute Number 14: Spenser HORSFALL was found unmarked and he put his shot wide of the advancing Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy to net to Equalize; This made the Score: 2-2.
With 32 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his First and Second changes of the night; replacing Stephen NEWTON with Sam TURNER and Michael SIDES with Daniel BOWLAND.
The Match went a bit flat at this stage with each team canceling each other out!
With 40 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his third change of the night; replacing Davis MANNIFIELD with Lloyd MOORE. Lloyd MOORE had been on the Pitch for over 2 minutes when the Referee noticed that Lloyd was wearing Black shorts instead of his side’s regulation Red Shorts. The Referee: Peter BINKS marched over were the Player was standing and ordered him off the Pitch to change his Black Shorts for a pair of Red Shorts. Lloyd had to ask one of the Subs for his shorts, before the Referee would allow the Player back onto the Pitch.
With 44 minutes on the clock. Ossett Albion Number 9: Tony BENNETT was put through on Goal; but the resulting shot was wasted as the Player fired his shot over the Yorkshire Main Cross Bar. This was the last action of an entertaining Match and as the Referee: Peter BINKS looked at his watch and blew the Final Whistle with the Score ending – Ossett Albion F.C. In Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s forth game of the Season and Manager Dave Twigg decided to start with his usual 4-4-2 formation, Darren DUFFY started between the sticks. The Yorkshire Main defence lined up with Lloyd MOORE replacing Kody TWIGG at (Right Back), Matthew BROWN, Luke HINSLEY (Centre Backs), Daniel BOWLAND replaced Chris BENSON at (Left Back). Daniel TURNER partnered Michael SIDES in Midfield. With Darren BIRD started on the Left Wing & James McFARLANE started on the Right Wing. Sam TURNER partner Stephen NEWTON up front;
The conditions on the night were fine; Altofts F.C. Under 19’s won the toss and decided to hand the Kick-Off to Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s; Playing from Right to Left.
The game started with both sides sounding each other out, but resulted in no shots on target.
With 6 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main won a Free-Kick on the Right. Luke HINSLEY near post header; Headed over.
With 8 minutes on the clock. Good work from Lloyd Moore on Left found Stephen NEWTON unmarked on the Left Wing; His pass inside found Darren BIRD who ran onto the ball, at the Left edge of the Altofts 18 Yard Box; He ran and chipped his shot over the advancing Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS into the bottom Right Hand Corner of the Altofts net, to open the scoring for the Away side to make the Score: 0-1 to Yorkshire Main
With 14 minutes on the clock. The passage of play became scrappy with the ball playing Ping-Pong between the 2 back lines.With 16 minutes on the clock. Altofts No. 7: Liam BISHOP was found unmarked at the back post but he shot wide of the Yorkshire Main Goal.
With 18 minutes on the clock. Stephen NEWTON unmarked in the middle of Midfield found James McFARLANE on the Right; But his shot was blocked and cleared by the Altofts defence.
With 21 minutes on the clock. Midfielder Daniel TURNER found James McFARLANE on the Right; His shot went wide of the Altofts Left Hand Post.
With 22 minutes on the clock. Altofts No.10 & Captain: Josh CORBETT had his shot blocked by Centre Back: Matthew BROWN and the danger was cleared by the Yorkshire Main defence. With 26 minutes on the clock. Lloyd MOORE on the Right side of the Yorkshire Main Penalty Box slipped and fell and as he fell put his hand down to break his fall; the ball hit his Right Arm; To the shock of the Yorkshire Main team The Referee: Simon DEERE pointed to the Penalty spot to Award Altofts a Penalty. (To Award a Penalty the Player must make the action of Hand to Ball and Not in this case of Ball to Hand)! The Altofts No.10 & Captain: Josh CORBETT stepped up to take the kick. He sent his Kick high to the left of the diving Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren DUFFY to Equalize; This made the Score: 1-1. This gave the Large Home crowd (Situated in the Main Stand) a chance to raise the tempo and showed their appreciation towards the Home sides fighting spirit. After this every time Right Back: Lloyd MOORE gained possession of the ball, the Home crowd booed him. But this did not affect his play, throughout the remainder of the first half of the match!
With 31 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main was dealt a blow when their Centre Back & Captain: Matthew BROWN lost one of his Contact Lenses and had to be replaced. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his first change of the night; replacing Matthew BROWN with Chris BENSON. Chris filled in at Left Back, with Daniel BOWLAND taking over at Centre Back in the Yorkshire Main defence.
With 32 minutes on the clock. In his first action of the Match Chris BENSON pass found Stephen NEWTON unmarked at the edge of the Altofts 18 Yard Box; His pass inside found Sam TURNER 8 Yards out from the Altofts Goal; But his shot was blocked by the legs of the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS and the ball was cleared by the Home defence.
With 35 minutes on the clock. An Altofts Player slipped and fell in his own half and as fell he put his hand down to break his fall; the ball hit his Right Arm; But this time the Referee: Simon DEERE didn’t award a Free-Kick for the offence. It was Yorkshire Main’s turn to question the decision making qualities of the Referee. With 40 minutes on the clock. Stephen NEWTON Turn & Shot in the Altofts Penalty Box just missed the Right Hand Post; Going out for a Goal Kick.
With 42 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main won a corner on the Left. Daniel TURNER stepped up to take the Corner; Daniel ball into the near post was met by the head of Stephen NEWTON; Who’s Glancing Header found it’s way into the Far Corner of the Altofts Net; To make the Score: 1-2 to Yorkshire Main.
With 44 minutes on the clock. Stephen NEWTON pass found Darren BIRD unmarked on the Left; Darren’s cross field ball found James McFARLANE on the Right Wing; But his run into the Altofts Penalty was blocked and the ball was cleared by the Altofts defence.
1 minute of Injury Time. With time added on for the injury to Matthew BROWN. Darren BIRD picked the ball up on the Left Hand corner of the Altofts 18 Yard Box; His run across the front of the Penalty Box was left unchallenged as Darren got his Right Footed shot off from about 14 Yards from their Goal; Giving the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS No Chance as the ball nestled in the top Right Hand corner of the net; To make the Score: 1-3 to Yorkshire Main.
The Referee blew the whistle for Half Time, with the Score: 1-3 to Yorkshire Main.
At the start of the Second Half; It was Altofts turn to Kick-Off. Kicking from Right to Left!
Yorkshire Main started the Second Half as they had ended the First! On Top!!
With 1 minute on the clock. Daniel TURNER was fouled on the Left of Midfield. Chris BENSON stepped up to take the Kick. The Kick came to nothing and the danger was cleared by the Altofts defence. With 3 minutes on the clock. Michael SIDES run and shot from 30 Yards out was well saved by the Goal Keeper.
With 4 minutes on the clock. James McFARLANE on the Right Wing plays a neat one-two with Stephen NEWTON; Who’s pass inside found Darren BIRD unmarked, Darren shoots over from 20 Yards out! With 9 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main won a corner on the Right. Darren BIRD stepped up to take the Corner; The Corner came to nothing!
With 10 minutes on the clock. Sam TURNER shot from 20 Yards out is tipped round the Right Hand Post by the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS for a Corner to the Away Side. The Corner found Michael SIDES; Who shot well wide! With 13 minutes on the clock. Darren BIRD’s pass from the Left Wing found the feet of Sam TURNER; But Sam was too slow and the Goal Keeper gathered the ball and cleared the danger.
With 16 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick. Darren BIRD stepped up to take the Kick. The Kick found the head of Luke HINSLEY; But the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS came off his line and blocked Luke’s header from Point-Blank deflecting the ball out for a Corner to Yorkshire Main on the Right. Darren BIRD corner was a poor effort and the danger was cleared by the Home defence.
With 17 minutes on the clock. Altofts gained a Throw-In on the Right; level with the Yorkshire Main 18 Yard Box. The ball found the head of an Altofts Player unmarked in the Yorkshire Main Penalty Box, his backward header found the Altofts No.10 & Captain: Josh CORBETT unmarked 8 Yards out from the Yorkshire Main Goal; He blasted the ball past the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren DUFFY; To pulled one back for the Home side; To make the Score: 2-3 to Yorkshire Main. Again the Large Home crowd raised the tempo.
With 19 minutes on the clock. Sam TURNER cross from the Right-Wing traveled along the Altofts 6 Yard line; Michael SIDES slid in; But his shot deflects off his shins and over the Cross Bar. With 21 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick. Chris BENSON stepped up to take the Kick. The kick finds the head of Michael SIDES; Who’s glancing header goes wide of the Altofts Goal.
With 22 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his Second change of the night; replacing Daniel TURNER with Jordan WILLIAMS. With 25 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick on the Right side of the Pitch; when Lloyd MOORE was fouled right on the edge of the Altofts 18 Yard Box. From Darren BIRD’s Free-Kick, the ball was headed out for a corner on the Right. Darren BIRD’s corner was met at the Back Post by the head of Luke HINSLEY; who’s headed was sent over the Cross Bar.
With 27 minutes on the clock. Again Yorkshire Main pushed forward and where awarded a corner on the Right side of the pitch. Darren BIRD’s corner met at the Near Post by the head of Luke HINSLEY; who’s headed the ball past the Altofts Left Hand Post. With 28 minutes on the clock. Stephen NEWTON pass found Sam TURNER in the centre at the edge of the Altofts 18 Yard Box; but as he was preparing to shoot the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS came off his line to close Sam down. With the Goal Keeper nearly on top of him Sam chipped the ball pass him, but his shot went wide of the Altofts Left Hand Post.
With 29 minutes on the clock. Michael SIDES pass from midfield found Sam Turner unmarked in front of the Altofts Goal. But Sam sent his shot over the Cross Bar; To waste another chance for Yorkshire Main to increase their lead over the Home side. With 30 minutes on the clock. Altofts No. 3: Carl ANSCOMBE went down in the centre of the Pitch under a strong challenge; After getting treatment on the injury, the Player could not continue and the Altofts Manager: Terry Gill was forced to replaced his No.3 with the Altofts No. 14: Simon BENTLEY. The incident took over 3 minutes and that meant that the Referee would add on an extra 3 minutes of Injury Time at the end of the Match.
With 34 minutes on the clock. James McFARLANE pass from the Right Wing found Sam Turner unmarked just inside the Right Hand Side of the Altofts Penalty Box. Sam with his back towards goal, but before he could get the ball under control, his heals were clipped from behind. Sam went down under the challenge. Everybody from Yorkshire Main shouted for a Penalty; But to the dismay of Players and everybody on the bench; the Referee: Simon DEERE waved away the Away side appeals, saying that the Player had gone down too easily under the challenge.
With 35 minutes on the clock. Sam Turner was put through on Goal; Again the Altofts Goal Keeper: Alex ELLIS came off his line to close Sam down. Sam miss-hit his shot and the Goal Keeper gathered and cleared the danger! With 36 minutes on the clock. Dave Twigg the Yorkshire Main Manager made his third change of the night; replacing Darren BIRD with Steffan CAIRNS.
With 38 minutes on the clock. Sam Turner made a run into the Right side of the Altofts Penalty Box, but his run was cut short when he was chopped down by an Altofts Player; Everybody connected with Yorkshire Main shouted for a Penalty; But to the dismay of Players the Referee: Simon DEERE didn’t make his mind up until the Referee Assistant on the Right Hand Touch Line; James PARKER placed his Flag across his chest to signal that the foul had been committed in the Penalty Box and the Referee should award a Penalty! Finally after consulting his Assistant; the Referee: Simon DEERE pointed to the spot to award Yorkshire Main a Penalty. Chris BENSON stepped up to take the kick. He sent his Kick to the left of the Altofts Goal. To make the Score: 2-4 to Yorkshire Main.
With 39 minutes on the clock. From the restart Altofts pushed forward looking to reduce the deficit. Altofts sent the ball into the Away sides 18 Yard Box and from about 8 Yards out the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren DUFFY scrabbled to his Right too make a great Point Blank Save and turn the ball out for a corner to Altofts on the Right!
With 40 minutes on the clock. From the resulting corner, the ball was sent into the Near Post where it was met by the head of the Altofts No. 11: Adam STANCLIFFE. His strong Glancing Header headed towards goal; the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren DUFFY got his hand to the ball and tried to push it over the bar; but the force of the header sent the ball into the Far Corner of the Yorkshire Main Net; To pulled one back for the Home side; To make the Score: 3-4 to Yorkshire Main. Again the Large Home crowd raised the tempo and again showed their appreciation towards the Home sides fighting spirit.
With 42 minutes on the clock. Right for the restart, Altofts won possession and pushed forward looking for the Equalizer. Altofts won another corner on the Right; From the resulting corner, the ball was sent to the Far Post where again the Altofts No. 11: Adam STANCLIFFE eluded the Away defenders and got his head to the ball. He sent his header back towards the Near Post and the ball flew into the top Left Hand Corner of the Yorkshire Main Net with the Goal Keeper: Darren DUFFY well beaten to gain the Equalizer for a very spirited Altofts side; This made the Score: 4-4. Again it gave the Large Home crowd a chance to raise the tempo!
With 43 minutes on the clock. From the restart Yorkshire Main pushed forward looking for the winner. Michael SIDES run and shot from midfield went wide of the Altofts Goal.
With 44 minutes on the clock. From Altofts Goal Kick: Yorkshire Main gained possession of the ball. Michael SIDES shot towards goal was deflected out for a corner to Yorkshire Main on the Left. The Corner came to nothing!
With 45 minutes on the clock. Again Altofts lost possession of the ball in midfield; Jordan WILLIAMS made the tackle and his pass inside found Michael SIDES unmarked; Michael’s shot towards goal was deflected out for a corner to Yorkshire Main on the Left. The Corner came to nothing!
Everybody on the Altofts side was looking for the Referee: Simon DEERE to blow the Final Whistle. But from the injury to the Altofts No. 3: Carl ANSCOMBE (With 30 minutes on the clock); Meant that the Referee would add on an extra 3 minutes of Injury Time too the end of the Match.
1 minute 45 seconds of Injury Time. Again Yorkshire Main won possession of the ball in midfield; The ball was passed down the Right Wing!
2 minute of Injury Time. Lloyd MOORE’s Throw-In on the Right found the head of Sam TURNER who’s header knocked the ball into the path of Stephen NEWTON; who took the ball right to the Goal Line; His run and strong cross from the Right Goal Line; found its way into the Altofts 18 Yard Box and was met on the edge of the crowded Altofts 6 Yard Box by Michael SIDES; who smashed the ball into an unguarded net. To make the Score: 4-5 to Yorkshire Main. This time it was the Yorkshire Main Players and Supporter turn to celebrate; As the Large Home crowd fell silent!
3 minute of Injury Time. Altofts picked the ball up and went back to the Centre Circle, to take the Kick-Off. Altofts took the Kick; But the Referee: Simon DEERE looked at his watch and blew the Final Whistle with the Score ending - Altofts F.C. Under 19’s 4 Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19's 5.
The Final Whistle bought an end to a highly entertaining Match between two Goods Sides. Straight from the Kick-Off Hemsworth tried a long range shot hoping to find Darren DUFFY the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper on the hop; But the ball went straight out for the first Goal Kick of the Match. With 4 minutes on the clock. The Referee: Graeme ECCLESHALL awarded Yorkshire Main a Free-Kick for Hand ball on the Right of the Hemsworth Midfield. Kody TWIGG stepped up to take the kick; but the kick came to nothing, Hemsworth cleared the danger. With 5 minutes on the clock. Sam TURNER’s pass inside was met by Jonathan MORGAN 23 Yards out; His sweet Left-Foot shot was too good for the Hemsworth Goal Keeper: Daniel JENNINGS; As Jonathan shot the bottom Left Hand Corner of the Hemsworth net, to open the scoring for the Home side. From the Re-Start Yorkshire Main gained possession in the middle of the park and pressed forward, Jonathan MORGAN cross from the Left Wing found Sam TURNER unmarked at the back post. The ball skidded off the turf, Sam’s got his right foot to the cross, but his shot hit the Hemsworth’s Left Hand Up Right; Going out for a Goal Kick to the Away Side. With 10 minutes on the clock. Jonathan MORGAN’s Left Foot shot hit the Hemsworth’s Left Hand Post. With 12 minutes on the clock. David MANNIFIELD pass inside, found Sam TURNER unmarked on the Left; but his chipped shot over the advancing Goal Keeper: Daniel JENNINGS hit the Hemsworth’s Right Hand Post; With 14 minutes on the clock. His run and Left Foot shot from the edge of the Hemsworth 18 Yard Box eluded everybody in the Box and gave the Goal Keeper No Chance as it nestled in the corner of the net to make the Score: 3-0 to Yorkshire Main. Sam TURNER picked the ball up on the Left of midfield and made a run into the Hemswoth Penalty Area; a challenged came in from behind from the Hemswoth Left Back Luke HEPPINSTALL and Sam hit the ground and after some confusion between the Referee: Graeme ECCLESHALL & the Referee Assistant: Ian FIRTH; The Referee pointed to the spot; To award Yorkshire Main a Penalty. Left Back: Chris BENSON stepped up to take the Kick. Chris sent his Kick to the Left of the Goal, sending the Hemswoth Goal Keeper: Daniel JENNINGS diving to his Right. To make the Score: 4-0 to Yorkshire Main. With 8 minutes on the clock. Jonathan MORGAN sent his corner to the Far Post, where it was Headed clear! With 9 minutes on the clock. Michael SIDES shot blocked at the Near Post and the danger was cleared. With 13 minutes on the clock. Luke HINSLEY made a run from midfield; he was challenged at the edge of the Hemsworth 18 Yard Box; but he rode the tackles and his shot beat the advancing Goal Keeper to find the far corner of the Hemsworth’s net to make the Score: 5-0 to Yorkshire Main.

On the way back to the Centre Circle Luke HINSLEY became involved with one of the Hemsworth’s defenders, both Players exchanging strong words; The Referee: Graeme ECCLESHALL stepped in and Booked both Players for Descent! This was Steffan’s first Goal for Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s. The shouts from the Yorkshire Main Bench were for Lloyd MOORE to follow Steffan’s example and open his account for the Under 19’s. But this was Not to be Lloyds Night! With 42 minutes on the clock. James McFARLANE saved the best Goal of the night till the 42nd minute; James picked the ball up on the Left of midfield and started his run beating everybody that came to challenge him; His Right Foot shot beat the advancing Hemswoth Goal Keeper: Daniel JENNINGS to make the Score: 9-0 to Yorkshire Main.
With 43 minutes on the clock. Jonathan MORGAN cross from the Left Wing; Found Sam TURNER unmarked at the back post; Sam calmly brings it down under control and waits for the Hemswoth Goal Keeper: Daniel JENNINGS to go sell himself; To chip the ball over the Goal Keeper into the net to make the Score: 10-0 to Yorkshire Main. This made the Goal Keeper’s misery for the night complete! Yorkshire Main held out; With No more goals were scored in the second half.

In Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s second game of the Season and Manager Dave Twigg decided to start with his usual 4-4-2 formation, Darren DUFFY started between the sticks. The Yorkshire Main defence lined up with Neil Howard replaced Kody TWIGG at (Right Back), Matthew BROWN, Luke HINSLEY (Centre Backs), Chris BENSON replaced Daniel BOWLAND at (Left Back). Daniel TURNER partnered Michael SIDES in Midfield. With James McFARLANE started on the Left Wing & Jonathan MORGAN started on the Right Wing. Sam TURNER partner David MANNIFIELD up front;
The conditions on the night were fine; but after 10 minutes a fine drizzle covered the skies over Armthorpe. Yorkshire Main F.C. Under 19’s won the toss and decided to Change Ends – Leaving Armthorpe to Kick-Off; Playing from Left to Right.
With 3 minutes on the clock. The game started at a lively pace with Yorkshire Main tried to play football whenever possible. Yorkshire Main pressed forward with a neat ball through the middle of midfield to the feet of Sam TURNER. But Sam was flagged Off-Side by the Referee Assistant: Roy HODSON.
With 5 minutes on the clock. After good work down the wing; Sam TURNER’s cross field ball was met by Jonathan MORGAN 20 Yards out; His sweet Right-Foot shot was too good for the Armthorpe Goal Keeper: Rhys MANN; to open the scoring for the Away side. Score: 0-1 to Yorkshire Main
With 6 minutes on the clock. From the Re-Start Yorkshire Main gained possession in the middle of the park and pressed forward, gaining a Free-Kick on the edge of the Armthorpe 18 Yard Box. Jonathan MORGAN stepped up to take the kick. His kick eluded everybody and found the back of the Armthorpe net! Score: 0-2 to Yorkshire Main.
With 7 minutes on the clock. Again from the Re-Start Yorkshire Main were the first to react and gained possession in the middle of the park. Jonathan MORGAN shot to the back post found David MANNIFIELD unmarked to make the Score: 0-3 to Yorkshire Main.
With 9 minutes on the clock. Daniel TURNER pass from midfield, found David MANNIFIELD unmarked on the Left Wing; David’s ball right across the Armthorpe 6 Yard Box was missed by everybody and the danger was cleared by the Home defence.
With 11 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick on the Right just outside the Armthorpe 18 Yard Box; when James McFARLANE was fouled. Jonathan MORGAN stepped up to take the kick; but the kick came to nothing, going behind for a Goal Kick to Armthorpe.
With 12 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main continued to show their dominance when Jonathan MORGAN from only 6 Yards out; sent his header straight at the Armthorpe Goal Keeper; who going to his Left plucked it from just underneath his cross bar.
With 14 minutes on the clock. Michael SIDES pass found David MANNIFIELD; who shot wide of the Left Hand Post.
With 16 minutes on the clock. Armthorpe gained a corner on the Right. The corner was sent deep to the far post, where it was met by a Armthorpe head; Whose header was sent wide of the Far Post. Goal-Kick to Yorkshire Main!
With 18 minutes on the clock. Armthorpe gained a Free-Kick on the left; 22 Yards from the Yorkshire Main Goal. The Free-Kick was sent just outside the Yorkshire Main 6 Yard Box, where the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy decided to come out and claim the ball. But he miss judged the flight of the ball and instead of claiming the ball, he came out feet first and the ball rebounded back into play; where it was hit back into an unguarded net. Armthorpe had reduced the Score: 1-3 to Yorkshire Main.
With 20 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main took just 2 minutes to regain their 3 Goal advantage, when Sam TURNER was fouled on the Left. Jonathan MORGAN stepped up to take the kick. His kick found the head of Sam TURNER at the edge of the Armthorpe 6 Yard Box; his header found the back of the Armthorpe net; Making the Score: 1-4 to Yorkshire Main.
With 22 minutes on the clock. Daniel TURNER’s pass inside found Michael SIDES unmarked and from 23 Yards out, his Right Foot shot found the back of the net, leaving the Armthorpe Goal Keeper: Rhys MANN with no chance; to make the Score: 1-5 to Yorkshire Main.
With 25 minutes on the clock. Armthorpe gained a Free-Kick on the left. The Free-Kick was sent into the Yorkshire Main 6 Yard Box, where the Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy made no mistake this time and punched the ball cleared.
With 26 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a corner on their Left. The ball was sent into the near post, but was cleared by the Armthorpe defence for another corner on the Left. The 2nd corner found the head of Matthew BROWN; who headed wide.
With 28 minutes on the clock. Armthorpe gained a Free-Kick about 25 Yards out from Yorkshire Main Goal. The kick was sent over the cross bar.

Good work down the Armthorpe Right Wing by the Armthorpe No. 4: Matt BEDFORD sent in the Armthorpe No. 10: Steffan MELIN into the right side of the Yorkshire Main 18 Yard Box. The Armthorpe No. 10 at the edge of his 6 Yard Box had his shot smothered by the advancing Yorkshire Main Goal Keeper: Darren Duffy, whose block sent the ball out for a corner to Armthorpe. Good save Duffy!! The corner came to nothing.

Jonathan MORGAN kick was sent deep into the Armthorpe 18 Yard Box; where the Armthorpe Goal Keeper: Rhys MANN punched clear at the edge of his 6 Yard Box. From the clearance, Yorkshire Main kept possession; but he attack broke down and the Goal Keeper gathered the ball and cleared the danger.

The Yorkshire Main defence lined up with Kody TWIGG (Right Back), Matthew BROWN, Luke HINSLEY (Centre Backs), Daniel BOWLAND started at (Left Back); with Chris BENSON out with a back injury. Daniel TURNER partnered Michael SIDES in Midfield. With James McFARLANE started on the Right Wing & Jonathan MORGAN started on the Left Wing. Sam TURNER partner David MANNIFIELD up front;

With 4 minutes on the clock. Daniel TURNER ran onto a through ball from midfield, but his shot from 25 yards out was sent high & wide of the Askern’s Goal.
With 6 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick on the Left side of the Pitch just inside the Askern half. Kody TWIGG stepped up to take the Free-Kick. He sent a high ball deep into the Askern 18 Yard Box, which was met at the back post by the head of Matthew Brown. His header was sent goal bound, but the attack came to nothing with the Referee’s Assistant: Steve ZELINSKI raising his flag to signal a Yorkshire Main Player being in an Off-Side position, inside the Askern 6 Yard Box. The Referee awarded a Free-Kick to the Away side.
With 8 minutes on the clock. Sam TURNER & David MANNIFIELD combined well down the Right Wing, but the attack was cut out by the Askern Left Back, sending the ball out for a throw-in to Yorkshire Main. The attack came to nothing and Askern cleared the danger.
With 11 minutes on the clock. Luke HINSLEY long ball from the back found Sam TURNER in the centre of the park. Sam’s run took him to the left of the 18 Yard Box, but his shot went wide of the Askern right hand post, without troubling the Away Goal Keeper.
With 14 minutes on the clock. James McFARLANE picked the ball up on the Right Wing, he beat the full back and sent a good cross to the far post, but the attack came to nothing! With 22 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a corner on the Left side of the pitch. Jonathan MORGAN long corner was met at the back post by Matthew Brown, but his left footed shot only found the side netting.
With 24 minutes on the clock. Adwick gained a Free-Kick, but the danger was cleared by the Yorkshire Main defence.
With 25 minutes on the clock. Yorkshire Main gained a Free-Kick on the Right side of the Pitch. Jonathan MORGAN Free-Kick into the Askern 18 Yard Box was met by Michael SIDES glancing header, which found its way, passed the Askern Goal Keeper to open the scoring for the Home side. Sam TURNER made a run into the Right side of the Askern Penalty Area, he run was checked by the Askern Left Back, whose clumsy challenge sent Sam crashing to the ground. Yorkshire Main Players appealed for a Penalty; but their shouts where waved away by the Referee: Martin GREEN. With 31 minutes on the clock. Daniel BOWLAND pass found Jonathan MORGAN on the Left, but his shot went wide of the goal. With 38 minutes on the clock. James McFARLANE picked the ball up just outside the Askern 18 Yard Box, he beat 2 Players; but sent his shot was sent high & wide of the Askern’s Goal.

The second half started slowly, with both teams canceling each other out. With 3 minutes on the clock. Michael SIDES in the centre of the Pitch; his pass found James McFARLANE 25 Yards from Goal; James was fouled and the Referee awarded Yorkshire Main a direct Free-Kick. Luke HINSLEY stepped up to take the kick, but his shot came to nothing and Adwick cleared the danger.
With 7 minutes on the clock. The battle in the middle of the Pitch became scrappy and Yorkshire Main where awarded another Free-Kick 30 yards from Adwick’s goal when Michael SIDES was fouled. This time Jonathan MORGAN stepped up to take the kick, but he shot it straight at the Goal Keeper. With 9 minutes on the clock. Jonathan MORGAN played a neat one two with Daniel BOWLAND on the left side of the Pitch, his pass inside found David MANNIFIELD unmarked; But his weak shot came to nothing. With 11 minutes on the clock. Again Yorkshire Main pressed forward looking for that 3rd Goal; to kill the game off! James McFARLANE picked up the ball in the centre of the Adwick half, but a clumsy challenge bought his run to an end and the Home side was awarded another Free-Kick. Jonathan MORGAN kick found Matthew BROWN 12 yards out from the Adwick Goal, but his Left Foot shot was sliced wide of Adwick’s Left Hand Post; Adwick were awarded a Goal Kick. With 12 minutes on the clock. Kody TWIGG pressed forward from Right Back and connected with the ball, but his Right Footed shot was sent wide of the Goal. With 13 minutes on the clock. From the resulting Goal Kick, Michael SIDES gathered control of the ball in the middle of the Pitch; but he miss-hit shot was hit straight at the Goal Keeper.
With the Yorkshire Main Midfielders Daniel TURNER and Michael SIDES dominating the Middle of the Pitch; Adwick were finding it hard to get out of their own half. With 14 minutes on the clock. The ball was won back again and the pass found David MANNIFIELD who beat 3 Players, but all that good work was wasted when his he miss-hit shot was hit straight at the Goal Keeper. With 17 minutes on the clock. Sam TURNER fierce Right Footed shot from just outside the Adwick 18 Yard Box was heading for the top of the Goal; but the Adwick Goal Keeper tipped his shot onto the top of the cross bar and out for a Yorkshire Main Corner. The Corner came to nothing.

Yorkshire Main again pressed forward through Michael SIDES; but a strong challenge bought his run to an end and the Referee awarded the Home side a Free-Kick. Jonathan MORGAN & Luke HINSLEY stood over the ball; Jonathan MORGAN move down the left opened up the space as Luke took the Free-Kick. His shot had the Adwick Goal Keeper diving full length to his right; he got both hands to the ball, but the force of the shot could not prevent it going into the bottom Right Hand Corner of the Adwick Net to make the Score: 4-0 to Yorkshire Main. Again Yorkshire Main pushed forward dominating the Middle of the Pitch; Jonathan MORGAN picked the ball up on the Left and made a run down the Left Wing; His run beat 2 Players and then Jonathan went around the Adwick Right Back and made a telling cross into the Adwick 18 Yard Box; The Goal Keeper made a move to cover his near post, but the ball ended at the feet of David MANNIFIELD; whose neat back heal from 12 Yards out sent the ball into the unguarded Right Side of the Adwick net to make the Score: 5-0 to Yorkshire Main.
